This project was about redesigning Base Two’s website to line up with their rebrand and do a better job of showing the work. I started with rough sketches and wireframes, trying different ways to balance strong visuals with clear navigation and a simple structure.

From there I built prototypes to test how the site might feel in use, especially around scrolling, navigation, and how the content stacked together. That helped us work through what needed more emphasis, what could be stripped back, and where the work itself should lead.

I worked closely with the creative directors to make sure the site felt right for the studio, and with developers to work through the practical details like breakpoints, transitions, and how the layouts would hold together across devices.

The final direction was pretty restrained. The point wasn’t to over-design it, it was to let the client work do the heavy lifting and make the site feel clear, tidy, and easy to move through.

It was a short project, so the process had to stay focused. A lot of the value came from quickly getting ideas into wireframes and prototypes, then using that to make decisions without overcomplicating things. In the end the site worked because it stayed simple and gave the work room to breathe.
